British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace said on Thursday that he visited Kyiv this week, where he met with Ukrainian counterpart Alexei Reznikov.
According to European Truth, Wallace wrote this on Twitter.
“This week I had the pleasure of visiting my good friend Oleksiy Reznikov in Kyiv, where we discussed increasing military assistance to Ukraine. Our support for their fight against Russian aggression is getting stronger and we will continue it in 2023 and beyond!” the tweet says.
So far, neither the British nor the Ukrainian sides have reported on Ben Wallace’s visit to Ukraine. The details of his meeting with Alexei Reznikov are also unknown.
The day before, British Prime Minister Liz Truss had a telephone conversation with President Volodymyr Zelensky – they spoke, in particular, about the so-called referendums in the occupied territories of Ukraine.
As you know, the United Kingdom was the first to announce sanctions in response to the fictitious referendums that Russia organized in four regions of Ukraine in violation of international law.
