Bentley Motors has unveiled details of its Beyond100 brand strategy for the next decade.
Part of the strategic plan presented by the company is the complete electrification of the model range.
Bentley Motors Engineering Board Member Matthias Rabb said the company will unveil two new plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models in 2021.
By 2026, according to the Beyond100 strategy, according to Mr. Rabb, all Bentleys will be either hybrid or all-electric, and by 2030 they will be purely electric.
The stated goals of such transformations are to achieve the so-called “carbon neutrality” of the company by 2030 and to ensure the “environmental safety of all operations at the Crewe plant.”
“Over the next decade, Bentley will transform from a 100-year-old luxury car company into a new, sustainable, fully ethical role model in the luxury segment,” said Bentley Motors CEO Adrian Hallmark.
In addition, by implementing the Beyond100 strategy, the British company expects to adapt in this way to the stricter emission limits imposed in Europe and China.
